The model 500T is a noise-canceling aviation microphone. It consists of an electret microphone, amplifier, and push-to-talk switch in a rugged plastic housing. A hanger bracket and mounting hardware are supplied with the microphone. The 500T is extremely resistant to interference, hum, and squealing induced by 400Hz power systems. It is approved under the Federal Aviation Agency TSO-C58.
